Rosario Fassina is a sociologist, researcher, and advocate for social and economic justice based in Argentina. She serves as the Community Organizer for Latin America and the Caribbean at the International Accountability Project.

Ryan Schlief is a life-long activist and campaigner of local and international human and environmental rights campaigns. As the Executive Director at the International Accountability Project and based in the US, connect with Ryan on fundraising, tech and all things IAP.

Tom Weerachat is a community trainer, teacher and a Mekong Region activist based in Thailand. He has a background in international relation and currently serves as Deputy Director at the International Accountability Project.

Zin Myo Htet has an academic background in Development Studies and Anthropology, currently based in Thailand. He has a strong interest in the intersections of technology, social justice, environmental issues, and human-centered development and currently supports IAP’s Early Warning System initiative.

Program Coordinator

Vaishnavi Varadarajan is a human rights and environment researcher and advocate who has worked on the intersection of climate and gender justice in South Asia. As the Program Coordinator at IAP, Vaishnavi supports IAP’s research and advocacy work in Asia Pacific region.

Ange Asanzi

Ange Asanzi supported movement building among civil society organizations in Africa at the non-profit International Rivers for 5 years. Ange is currently a graduate of Sustainable Development Practice at the University of Florida. Ange’s research focuses on gender issues, women’s empowerment, and community management of natural resources.

Cindy Mathew

Cindy Mathew has more than ten years of experience raising funds for important causes. Cindy is the Deputy Director of Development for the Drug Policy Alliance. Cindy advises IAP’s on donor engagement.

Jamon Franklin

Jamon Franklin has more than a decade of experience working with and advising nonprofits on financial management. Jamon is currently a graduate student at the School of Public Health at UC Berkeley. Jamon’s research is centered on community-based interventions and participatory research. Jamon advises IAP on its internal financial management and is the Board Secretary.

Joanna Levitt Cea

Joanna Levitt Cea is an advocate, researcher and facilitator for investments that respect all people’s human rights. Currently she is the Co-Director of Beloved Economies – an interdisciplinary research, story-telling and action initiative demonstrating the power of people coming together across difference to co-create economic realities that work for all. Joanna served as Executive Director of the International Accountability Project (IAP) from 2006-2014.

Kate Lauer

Kate Lauer is a lawyer with over twenty years of experience in international finance, Kate has focused her attention over the past decade on the legal and policy issues related to expanding access to financial services for the economically poor. Kate works on global regulatory strategy at Stripe. Kate advises IAP on its engagement with development finance institutions and IAP’s internal financial systems.

Kellea Shay Miller

Kellea Shay Miller is a global women’s rights professional and researcher. She works for organizations investing in social justice and specializes in grant making program design, monitoring and evaluation, and research and analysis for social change. She currently is the Deputy Director at Human Rights Funders Network. Kellea advises IAP on donor engagement.

Nairuti Shastry

Nairuti Shastry is an educator, strategist-facilitator, and engaged scholar with experience working toward racial and economic justice that transcends organizational, cultural, and political borders. Currently, Nairuti works with an interdisciplinary team of colleagues across the United States on Beloved Economies, a narrative change campaign in pursuit of economic realities that work for all.

Theodoros Chronopoulos

Theodoros Chronopoulos advises NGOs and philanthropic foundations on corporate accountability, environmental justice, and social and economic rights. Theodoros works as a Senior Programme Officer for Africa and Russia at EMpower: The Emerging Markets Foundation. Theodoros advises IAP on donor engagement and IAP’s programmatic initiatives.
